Cookie Policy
Version 2026-08-19-v1
This statement explains which cookies and similar technologies (such as browser local storage) Reson8 uses on this website and in the Reson8 application, and why.
Strictly necessary cookies
The Reson8 application uses strictly necessary cookies for signing in and keeping your session active. Without these, the Service cannot work. Under Article 11.7a(3)(b) of the Dutch Telecommunications Act, no consent is required for strictly necessary cookies.
| Cookie | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|
sb-access-token | Maintains your active session (authentication) | Session (≤ 1 hour) |
sb-refresh-token | Extends your session so you do not have to sign in again | Up to 30 days |
| Session cookies (names may vary per sign-in method) | Keeps you signed in when using Google or LinkedIn sign-in | Session, up to 30 days |
Analytics
We use PostHog, hosted in the EU, to understand how our website and product are used. PostHog stores a pseudonymous identifier in a cookie and in browser local storage (names beginning with ph_). This data is not shared with third parties for advertising and is not used to track you across other websites.
| Cookie / storage | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|
ph_* | Pseudonymous usage analytics (PostHog, EU-hosted) | Up to 1 year |
Marketing and tracking cookies
Reson8 sets no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Browser extension
The Reson8 browser extension sets no cookies. It stores only your Reson8 session locally in the browser's extension storage so it can send profiles to your own account. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Disabling cookies
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies prevents signing in to the Service. Requests about your data can be sent to gdpr@reson8.me.
Updates
Changes to this statement are published with the next deploy; the version at the top of this page reflects the current state.
